3TS Capital Partners is built based on our "One Team - Multiple Locations" philosophy. The team includes local nationals as well as foreign VC and Private Equity managers who have worked in the CEE region for many years. The team works across countries and offices to be able to bring the most relevant skills and experience to any investment including working closely with the portfolio companies on business development, partner search, financing and other key issues also after an investment has been made.
The Investment Committee consists of Pekka Santeri Mäki, Daniel Lynch and Matts Andersson They review all potential investment opportunities, terms for prospective investments, and developments in the Portfolio companies. |

Jiri Benes,
Investment Director, Prague
Mr. Benes is responsible for Czech Republic and Slovakia investment sourcing, transactions and portfolio management. Prior to joining 3TS, Mr. Benes worked as an Executive at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Technology, Media and Telecoms group and as an Equity Analyst covering CEE markets for Deutsche Bank in London. He holds both a BA and MA from the Prague School of Economics and is a CFA charter holder. Board Member of European Venture Capital Association & Czech Venture Capital Association.

Dominik Biegaj,
Investment Manager, Warsaw
Mr. Biegaj works in Warsaw office and is responsible for Polish investment sourcing,
analysis and appraisal. Prior to joining 3TS in September 2006, Mr. Biegaj worked as a Business Analyst for Xelion,
a Polish leading personal financial advisor, focusing on business development activities, and as an Analyst for 3TS in 2003.
Mr. Biegaj holds a M.Sc. in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics and is a CFA charter holder. Polish citizen.

Laszlo Hradszki,
Investment Director, Budapest/Bucharest
Mr. Hradszki is responsible for Hungarian and Romanian investment sourcing, transactions and portfolio management. Mr. Hradszki has been working in the VC/PE industry since 1998, previously also for Euroventures Hungary and the Hungarian Innovative Technologies Fund. Mr. Hradszki has eight years of banking experience in corporate finance and corporate banking at Citibank, ABN-Amro and Hungarian Credit Bank in Hungary. He has a BA from the College of Foreign Trade in Budapest and an MA from the University of Stockholm, Sweden.

Michal Kozelka,
Investment Analyst, Prague
Mr. Kozelka is responsible for analyzing of mainly Czech and Slovak investment opportunities,
identifying of potential investment targets and support of business development.
Prior to joining 3TS, Mr. Kozelka worked as an Analyst for Milestone Partners,
Czech venture capital investor, and was responsible for sourcing and analyzing of investment projects.

Zbigniew Lapinski,
Investment Director, Warsaw
Mr. Lapinski works in the Warsaw office and is responsible for Polish investment sourcing, transactions and
portfolio management. Prior to joining 3TS in September of 2005, Mr. Lapinski was CFO of Netia, a Warsaw Stock
exchange listed alternative telecom operator. Previously, Mr. Lapinski worked as an Regional Telecom Analyst at
Deutsche Bank and Industry Analyst at Creditanstalt in Warsaw. Mr. Lapinski is also a Supervisory Board member
of few Warsaw Stock exchange listed companies. He holds a M.Sc. from the Warsaw School of Economics.

Daniel Lynch,
Managing Director, Prague
Mr. Lynch is the managing partner of 3TS and is primarily responsible for originating,
executing and managing direct investments as well as overall investment management of 3TS.
Mr. Lynch joined 3TS in September 2000. Previously, Mr. Lynch was the Investment Director
in charge of Telecoms and Technology for the AIG New Europe Fund based in Warsaw.
He has continuously lived and worked in Central Europe for over 16 years working in the CEE Venture Capital
and Private Equity industry the entire time. He resides in the Czech Republic.
He has a BA (finance) from Washington State University and an MBA from University of California at Berkeley.

Pekka Santeri Mäki,
Managing Director, Budapest/Vienna
Mr. Mäki is the managing partner of 3TS and is primarily responsible for general management of 3TS. He is also active in investment structuring, negotiations and portfolio management. Previously, Mr. Mäki was the Managing Partner of Red Catalyst Ltd., a strategic business development consultancy and an investment boutique. From 1990 to 2000, he worked in top management positions at various international advertising agencies across Central and Eastern Europe and in Finland. In 1980s he started in management consulting and studied at Helsinki University of Technology, Universidad Complutense in Madrid and Wirschaftsuniversität Vienna.

Hannu Piepponen,
Chief Financial Officer, Prague
Mr. Piepponen is the Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for reporting, monitoring and controlling of the Funds and the portfolio companies. Previously, Mr. Piepponen was employed by CDA, advisor to the Czech Direct Equity Fund, where he had various responsibilities, including negotiations, transactions, portfolio management, as well as reporting and monitoring of the investment portfolio. Prior to this, Mr. Piepponen worked as a Chief Financial Officer in the Czech Republic. Mr. Piepponen holds a university degree in Finance and Accounting from University of Jyväskylä, Finland.

Mihai Sfintescu
Investment Director, Bucharest
Mr Sfintescu is responsible for Romanian investment sourcing, transactions and portfolio management. Prior to joining 3TS in October 2007, Mr Sfintescu has been working for 14 years in investment banking, of which five years as Corporate Finance Director with CA IB (currently member of UniCredit Group). Mr Sfintescu coordinated landmark M&A transactions in Romania and Central Asia on behalf of high profile multinationals and governmental agencies. Subsequently Mr Sfintescu established his own investment banking boutique which has been instrumental in successfully closing private equity transactions. He holds an MBA degree from University of Washington in Seattle.

Andrea Sharpe
Office Manager, Budapest
Andrea Sharpe works as Analyst and Office Manager in the 3TS Budapest office.
Prior to joining 3TS Ms. Sharpe was Office Manager at a leading PR Consultancy firm in Budapest. Before that she founded an event management company in Romania and worked extensively in the value added mobile services industry where she mainly dealt with developing Mobile Marketing concepts.
Ms. Sharpe holds a bachelors degree in European Studies from the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca Romania.

Katerina Dvorakova
Office Manager, Prague
Mrs. Dvorakova is the Office Manager of the 3TS Prague office. Her main responsibilities are to manage the issues concerning the setting up and running of the Prague office and firm PR. Previously, Mrs. Dvorakova worked for Coca-Cola Beverages ÈR as a Personal Assistant, later as Sales Coordinator. Mrs. Goetzova graduated at the Commercial Academy.

Matts Andersson,
Senior Advisor, Helsinki
Mr. Andersson is the Managing Director of Sitra Management Ltd and also serves as a member of the 3TS board. Previously, he was vice president of Sitra, the Finnish National Fund for Research and Development, where he was responsible for the development of Sitra’s venture capital direct investments. He also initiated Sitra’s fund investment programme which has made commitments to a large number of venture capital funds located in Finland and abroad. Mr. Andersson was a founding member and the first Chairman of the Finnish Venture Capital Association and a past Chairman of the European Venture Capital Association. Mr. Andersson holds a Master’s degree in Economics.
